
Abigail Onwunali
Abigail C. Onwunali is an award-winning educator, performer, and teaching artist dedicated to empowering students through creativity, communication, and self-expression. She holds a B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, and an M.F.A. in Acting from Yale University. A 2x Elliot Norton Award nominee, Abigail is also a 13-time national speech champion—holding the most championships in speech history—earning titles across the American Forensic Association, National Forensic Association, and National Speech and Debate Association. She has taught and coached across the U.S. and internationally, working with organizations like UT Austin, Girl Be Heard, Democracy Prep, and Taipei American School. Known for fostering confidence, collaboration, and artistic excellence, Abigail blends her extensive theater experience with a proven record of competitive success to inspire students to embrace their voices, challenge themselves, and share their stories boldly.
