Caleb Anstee
Caleb is a current student at Boston University, who is currently studying both International Relations and Business, and has been coaching and judging towards the end of his high school journey. Courtesy to his coach (Queen Mrs. Huffman), Caleb started competing in interpretation events in 7th grade after he moved from Australia. Following that he competed consistently in HI, and DI - whilst also competing in DUO in his high school years. Caleb’s coaches can confirm that he spent his competition years obsessed with Humorous Interpretation, and all of the fun physical, and vocal aspects that come with it. However, he also put great emphasis on issues of Veteran Awareness, and Opioid Addiction, through Dramatic Interpretation. Throughout his career, Caleb was the 2025 TFA State Runner-up, and placed third at the tournament the year before in Humorous Interpretation, a two-time NSDA Semi-Finalist in Humorous Interpretation, a Finalist, and a 3-time Semi-Finalist at the Harvard Debate Tournament in Dramatic Interpretation, and Humorous Interpretation. He was also a Finalist at the Tournament of Champions (Runner-Up), and one of the Stanford National Champions in Duo Interpretation. He also competed heavily in Impromptu Speaking, ranked First in Texas for two years during high school. Caleb loved having fun with his scripts, however, making his characters personable, and life-like (especially in Humorous Interp) was at the center of his time in forensics.
