CJ Heiskell

CJ Heiskell (he/they) is a Musical Theatre major at Nazareth University with a Tech Theatre minor in Rochester, New York. He’s been involved with forensics since he was 11, and now he’s very excited to coach the next generation! Their philosophy is all about approaching your interp events as an actor first and finding ways to let your personality shine through the text. CJ is so excited to work with everyone to find an honest, interesting, and fun story to tell! Since moving away from home, he’s coached numerous NSDA top placements on the middle school level, finding a deep love and passion for education along the way. Some personal awards from high school include: NSDA Duo 2022 Champion, NIETOC Duo 2023 Champion, NIETOC Duet 2023 + 2024 Champion, HARVARD DI 2024 Champion, GLENBROOKS DI + Duo 2023 Champion, TFA State 2024 Individual Sweepstakes Champion, TFA State 2023 Duo Champion.
