James Gracia
James is a proud graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, a prestigious undergraduate conservatory, pursuing a BFA in Drama/Theater and has a concentration in Game Design as well as Film/Television. James first started doing competitive forensics in 8th grade and did it throughout the rest of high school before attending NYU’s Drama program. Throughout his forensics career he became a four-time national qualifier, a four-time State Finalist, NIETOC Finalist, NSDA Semi-Finalist (2016), and was awarded the Samuel French Award/Best Actor as well as State Championship at the 2018 UIL One-Act State Competition. James owes so much of his forensics success to all his coaches, teammates, and family. It is because of them that he was able to obtain an acting degree and is now a working actor in New York City. He also has a great passion for teaching and has coached students ranging from elementary (Pre-K) to high school (12th grade).
